This original 1951 Black Shadow arrived in a wheel barrow and several box's, after spending the last 30 years in the owners garage. We were asked to restore it to its former glory.
It was mostly disassembled and in poor condition, but nearly all parts were present.
Everything was stripped, cleaned, checked and counted and then either plated, painted or repaired and then the painstaking job of putting it all back together could begin.

It took more than 350 hours to complete, not including work that was outsourced such as professional restoration of the speedo, vapour blasting, powder coating of cycle parts and stove enamelling of the engine parts.

It was a mammoth task but very satisfying to see the end result and to have helped put an original Vincent Black Shadow back on the road again.
